I have known Brooke Hart for the last two years while she has been a student in the Dental Hygiene Program at Portland Communing College. She was my student in Oral Health Education and Promotion class, and I have also been an instructor in all of her Dental Hygiene Clinics. During this time she has shown herself to be thorough, self-motivating, and pleasure to have as a student.
It has been a delight to observe Brooke when she is working with her patients; she provides the best care possible to meet each individual patient’s needs. She is concerned for others’ well being whether she is working with a fellow student, a clinical patient or an instructor.
Highly professional, Brooke has done extremely well at her academic studies, and has proven herself to be a knowledgeable clinician. She is always able to establish good rapport with her patients, and has consistently provided exceptional patient care. She is a great role model for others and strives for excellence in all that she does. Additionally, my observations of her outside of the classroom has shown her to be a kind and thoughtful person as well. All of these add up to just the blend of qualities that we look for in exceptional dental hygienists. Her positive attitude, eagerness to learn, desire to help others and sense of humor will make her a great addition to any office upon graduation.
With this commitment to her chosen career and these demonstrated qualities, she shows great promise to be a tremendous asset to the dental hygiene profession. Therefore, it is without hesitation that I give Brooke my highest recommendation as a future employee in the dental setting.
