My name is Brooke Hart and I am excited about the possibility of working as a Dental Hygienist at __________________ .  I saw your opportunity posting on Indeed.com for the part time/full time position.  I would be honored to be a part of a compassionate and high quality care team such as yours. 

Having recently graduated from Portland Community College with an Associates Degree in Health Science, I am now a licensed for Dental Hygienist. I have endorsements for administering local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and restorative functions.  While in school I had the opportunity to log over 800 hours in patient care with hygiene and restorative work at the Portland Community College Dental Clinic, The Boys and Girls Club of Salem Clinic and the Russel Street Clinic.  I also had the opportunity to volunteer for the Reynolds School district Sealant Program, Give Kids a Smile and at Portland Family Solutions.  It is at these experiences that I learned the ability to work individually and as a team, as well as the compassion and drive it takes to contribute to the oral health of our communities.  

My ambition started as a young woman. Before finding this career as a hygienist, I have accumulated experience as an entrepreneur, a designer, service industry worker and traveler among others.  These experiences have prepared me for the fast paced, knowledge based and patient centered care essential to be successful in the dental industry.  Coupled with my empathetic, attentive and extraordinarily organized disposition, I believe I have what it takes to be a compassionate, collaborative and highly skilled hygienist.
